First simple badge

Create a single badge called ‘Reliable Contributor.’ Criteria: completed five tickets, received a peer nomination, and had no unresolved blockers for one week. Award it after the first two weeks. The badge unlocks one privilege, like choosing a role first next rotation.

Why it matters: One badge is achievable. Five badges overwhelm. A teacher who launched with ten badges watched students ignore all of them; after switching to just ‘Reliable Contributor,’ 90 percent of students earned it within a month.

Example: Print the badge as a sticker or a digital image. When a student earns it, announce it at the closing huddle. That public recognition matters more than points.
